The Beaches
- Windy Hill Beach Access — our home beach. Wide strand, gentle surf, and far quieter than central Myrtle Beach.
- Cherry Grove Pier — a classic for fishing and sunrise walks, about 10 minutes up the coast.
Skip hauling gear: Lack's Beach Service sets up official chair-and-umbrella sets on the sand daily, and North Myrtle Beach Chair & Umbrella Rentals and VAYK Gear deliver weekly packages (chairs, canopies, coolers, even kayaks and paddleboards) right to the house.
Where to Eat
- Hook & Barrel — from-scratch coastal kitchen with local seafood, craft cocktails, and a raw bar. Our top restaurant pick on the Grand Strand.
- Hoskins Restaurant — a no-frills NMB institution serving seafood and Southern comfort since 1948.
- Duffy Street Seafood Shack — casual, fun, and always a hit with families.
- Rockefellers Raw Bar — steam pots and oysters with a locals' vibe.
- Greg Norman's Australian Grille — waterfront fine dining overlooking the Intracoastal.
Nights Out & Entertainment
Barefoot Landing is the hub — shopping, restaurants, and summer fireworks over the water on Wednesdays. Catch touring acts at the House of Blues, a variety show at the Alabama Theatre, or dinner and people-watching at Flying Fish Public Market.
With Kids
Alligator Adventure (next to Barefoot Landing), Ripley's Aquarium, Myrtle Waves Water Park, and the jaw-dropping sculpture gardens at Brookgreen Gardens are all easy half-day trips.
Getting Around
North Myrtle Beach is golf-cart country. Vacation Cart Co. and Shore Bird Cart Rentals deliver street-legal carts to the driveway before check-in — the easiest way to beach-hop Windy Hill.
